Bachelor’s degree candidates —Non-Chinese citizens —Abide by the laws, regulations and rules of the People’s Republic of China and ZSTU —Have a good reputation, respect teachers and fellow students —Both physically and mentally healthy
  • At least hold a high school diploma, and have a competitive academic record in high school or undergraduate education
— Have a valid HSK certificate at or above Band 4 (for those who apply for the programs instructed in Chinese language)
— Under the age of 30 if applying for Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship     
NOT win any other scholarships in China
Master’s or doctor’s degree candidates
  • At least hold a bachelor’s degree (for master’s degree candidates); at least hold a master’s degree (for doctor’s degree candidates)
— Have a competitive academic record in undergraduate or graduate education
— Two letters of recommendation by professors or associate professors from universities candidates graduate
— Have a valid HSK certificate at or above Band 6 (for those who apply for the programs instructed in Chinese language)
— Under the age of 35 for Master’s candidates and 40 for Doctor’s candidates for Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarships
Candidates for non-degree programs
